How It Works
1. Choose your Picnic/Event
Choose one of our event packages. Pick a date and location for your event.
We can set up your picnic in your home, backyard or a park. Contact us for ideas.
We also offer a variety of items you can add-on to your picnic experience!
2. Fill out the 'CONTACT US' page
Go to our 'CONTACT' US page and fill out as much information as you can in reference to your event/picnic choice, number of guest, date, time, location, and anything you'd like us to know.
We'll be in contact with you within 24 to 48 hours
3. Sign Contract + Pay
Sign your contract + pay your deposit, which is 50% of the total fee. The remainder would be due seven (7) days prior to your event.
If you need an event/picnic within 24 to 48 hours, full payment is required at the time of booking and you may incur a $60 convenience fee.

We will set-up your picnic at your desired destination.
Don't worry, we make sure everything is ready and beautifully styled upon your arrival!
We return to pack and clean everything at the end of your experience!
Unless otherwise stated in writing your quote will be valid for a period of fourteen days from the date the quote was issued. All quotes will be confirmed as booked once your deposit has been received by House of Lavish Events.
A non-refundable deposit (50% of invoice) is required to secure your booking with HOUSE OF Lavish Events. Until a deposit is received no booking will be confirmed or held.
All payments are due as detailed in the House of Lavish Events invoice to the customer. Payments should be made by the way of bank transfer to House of Lavish Events. Failure to pay an invoice will result in cancellation of your booking unless other arrangements have been made with House of Lavish Events prior to. All deposits are non-refundable as we start shopping for you event immediately after your paid confirmed booking. Full payment must be made 7 days prior to your event. If your event is booked within 36 hours of event day, a $50 convivence fee will be added to your booking fee. Events booked less than 7 days in advance must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Changes and Cancellation
Any cancellation will result in loss of deposit. All changes to date or venue must occur no less than one week prior to date of event and must be approved by House of Lavish Events.
Unfortunately, the weather is out of our control. Location of an event can be changed due to weather the day before the event. For styling events only please have a backup plan as we are more than happy to set the event up indoors, under a pergola or on a patio. House of Lavish Events will ONLY issue a refund if we have to cancel. If you need to reschedule, we allow you to reschedule up to 90 days after your original booking date. It is the responsibility of the customer to have a plan B location.
Venue Details and Access
The customer is required to determine the suitability of the hire package for the event. All permits for picnics/small dinner parties held in local government-controlled areas is to be completed through House of Lavish Events.
Hire and Equipment
The person that has made the booking has full responsibility of the hired equipment. We take no responsibility of any injury that may have been caused by our equipment.
Loss or Damage of Items
All items supplied to the customer are property of House of Lavish Events. Damage to or loss of items within the period of hire as detailed in the invoice, must be reported by the customer to House of Lavish Events immediately. If the items are lost the customer must pay the current replacement costs to House of Lavish Events. If the items are damaged the customer must pay for all repairs and or replacement. If an emergency should arise and customer must end said event early, we ask that you give us a 30 minute heads up so that we can make it event site to retrieve House of Lavish Event's property. The customer is responsible for any and all property leased to you during to time event is booked.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for the picnic. Local government-controlled areas such as parks are prohibited from drinking and an on the spot fine can be issued. House of Lavish Events take no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties incurred.
We reserve the right to take photographs of our event set ups and styling for our social media purposes. We will not take photos of our customers or guests without their permission. We welcome photos from you and reserve the right to use these in our promotional platforms.
If the agreed upon location is more than 20 miles from Wilmington, N.C., a travel fee of $75.00 will occur.
